"The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough!"
"On arrival the desk staff (4 of them) didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in. The one that eventually did was very helpful.
The room and facilities were good although when you book a room for 3 it isn’t rocket science to work out that you will need 3 cups, coffee pod, robes, etc. One of the 2 robes in the room was badly ripped and unusable.
Food in the bar was good but service was very poor and we felt like a nuisance rather than a guest paying these prices per night. Very poor.

"Really enjoyed 2 nights at your hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed . One suggestion is that they need hand holds in shower/bath as getting in is challenging due to height of tub. Otherwise, A+++"
