"Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area. Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe. Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower. Good size fridge. Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use). "Our room was very comfortable (especially the bed/mattress) and furnished to a good standard. Nice modern en suite facilities. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and the location was adjacent to many bars and restaurants and only a 6-7 minute walk from the town centre. Only downside was the expensive local car parking (£22.50 overnight - significantly more than we have experienced elsewhere) with no discount from the hotel"
