Thames, known as the rural centre of the peninsula, contains many cafés, restaurants and boutique shops. With lodges and self-catered apartments, the former gold-mining town is a great place to stay when exploring the peninsula. Great accommodation. We stayed in the cabin kitchen which had everything we needed. The beach could be seen from the cabin from the bedroom and the veranda. The toilet and shower was literally next door to the cabin. Fabulous campsite for all. Would highly recommend 👌 🙂
