"Weekend away with the other half. Overall good hotel and well worth the money. Staff all very friendly and good breakfast. Halls and the room were especially hot at night, not sure if just a malfunction with the heating! Parking situation was a little frustrating as the listing says ‘first come first served’ but when we arrived several spaces had been reserved for people who booked ahead so we paid for the car park down the road. "

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

"The location was stunning. The owners were warm, friendly and very helpful. The evening menu was extensive and what we chose was delicious.
