"If you are visiting Cirencester, this is an amazing place to stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, I stayed in one of their deluxe rooms and it was amazing. They have a great restaurant and bar attached to hotel and the outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing. The piano bar on Friday Saturday nights is great entertainment! The staff are really friendly but not intrusive. Location is perfect, walk into city center in 10 mins and easy driving access to any POI. Definitely come back...

"Charming hotel in the center of Cirencester with friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. There is no lift so rooms may not be accessible for everyone (but they can help you carry your suitcases to the room). "A lovely location with wood/lake walks directly adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact, but clean and well equipped with welcome gifts of water and biscuits. Bed good, shower reasonable, but TV a little small for the room size. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. All staff were ultra helpful, attentive and polite. Overall recommended."

"Checked in late but wasn't a problem. Friendly staff. Had asked for ground floor but was on 2nd (it luckily had a lift). Bed tiny but overall rom was good. Clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was nice. Would stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! "
