"First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. "A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!"

"Loved this adorable B&B just outside the city center of Cirencester. I had one of the courtrooms and I thought it would be noisy...but it most definitely was not. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and well-maintained. The highlight for me was a breakfast and the staff...who were super accommodating and friendly."

"Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen und bei der Anfahrt über das Grundstück freut man sich schon auf die typisch britische, alte Hausanlage. Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. Wir hatten jeder die preiswerteste Zimmer Kategorie gewählt, gute Matratzen, das Fenster ließ sich öffnen und super war auch das warme und sehr saubere Bad. "

"First of all i would like to say that the bedding was ruined on 2 singles.. Stained disgusting took photo.. Had someone to change the bedding .. None of us could sleep at night we were told then it was where the pipes were on & off all night .. Stayed here 3 times i don’t think i will be coming back .. Another hotel would have put us in another room .. The bedroom was really big .. It would be nice to have some sort of a discount .."

"A nicely renovated older building in a central location with excellent access to town centre. We had a larger room which was nicely decorated. Loved the milk for my tea/coffee in the room, and the welcome cookies. Bed comfy and good towels. Would’ve appreciated a magnifying mirror for makeup, and an in room fridge. The restaurant/ bar was good, but seemed to have very restrictive hours, and service was not as attentive as it could’ve been. No room service or phone in room either. A small hiccup...
