The property was admittedly further out from Cologne than we initially thought but the hotel itself was fantastic with a rail service and bus service bringing you straight to the front entrance. The rooms were perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast we had was exceptional. If I was ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again!

Parking to access was unclear. Hotel guest may have some luggage, therefore easier access is required. Room is quite good and view to see colognes city (it is far from hotel) is good

Very pleasant stay

Only stayed the one night due to travel plans. This was a real gem, obviously refurbished and modernised to the highest standard. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower great. The breakfast was great, a really good selection of all sorts to choose from. Nothing negative to say about this place, ( except for all the rain ) we would certainly return.

Breakfast was superb. Venue was beautiful. No coffee or tea making facilities. A promise of this and signs in hotel saying it was available in communal areas but nothing provided during the 3 days we stayed. Staff member refused to give us tokens for machine in reception and insisted we pay. For the cost of our stay we found this very poor. Also booked a double room but it was 2 twin beds pushed together with single quilts.

Nice Hotel with easy access and easy parking. Good bkfs't included. Some communication difficulties due to most of staff not speaking and/or understanding English very well. Nice location with great views. 5 minutes from town and 20 minutes from Cologne.

The shower did not work properly with the water just nearly warm. I was told because of same maintenance but everything was solved, for two days nothing changed, it was a problem with the water mixer ( which I immediately clearly explained ). My room wasn't cleaned and they told me that this service is only under a specific request and this is written somewhere in the room, ok but as 99,9% of the Hotels do not have this approach, you have clearly to tell me this when I check in and not let me discover it by myself, I do not have time to read everything, especially that it is a very rare.I could have dinner in the restaurant because that was reserved for people of a conference...so basically nex time will chose for another one.

Close to Technology Park in BGL.

The hotel is located near Technology Park in BGL. The parking lot is far from property and if you have luggage to carry it will be uphill walk. Then there is no elevator (under construction.. so far). I got the room on the first floor, thankfully I did not have lots of luggage but I can imagine someone with lots of large suitcases will struggle. There is no room service due to corona (as of Oct 12, 2022). The towels are very thin and will be dripping water after first use. My room had a small shower that is poorly designed to allow water seeping through the bottom of the door to entire bathroom and that water will stay there forever. Breakfast is typical German and it is same everyday.
