"A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour."

"We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. "

"The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. "The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection."

"The Melrose is similar to other Manx B&B I have used, The property while looking tired and dated is adequate for my type of stay.
