The large chandelier in the bar is a piece de resistance! You can also try sensibly priced cognacs from the extensive bar list. The cocktails are great too! "The grounds and building are very beautiful, room is spacious, well decorated & comfortable. The weather was very hot so after a day of touring we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool. There is very limited front desk service which was fine for us. The breakfast is self service, had a good selection and tasty. The Hotels.com website says check-in in from noon which is incorrect. There is no access to the property before 3 pm & you have to call a number on the front gate to obtain access to...
