"Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. "

"We have stayed at The Park 5+ times when staying overnite in Highlands. It's a wonderful retreat for dogs and humans and has always been a pleasure. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our dachshunds love it. The ample sized running park behind the property is secure and perfect for your fur babies to explore and burn off their excess energy. Dog toys, treats and bedding are standard. Juices, coffee , cookies and water are free and available 24/7. Our preferred rooms are on ground...

"Was very very disappointed. I had a reservation for Saturday night. I called on Thursday night to cancel due to a family issue that was last minute. I was told they would cancel the reservation but had to charge me the nightly rate because it was too late. I said theres nothing you can do, they told me it was property policy no exceptions. This is the epitome of corporate greed, and shows why the world is in the shape its in. I personally will never stay at another Hampton Inn or Hilton...

"The property was very welcoming to myself, my wife, and our dog! Methodical Coffee onsite in the lobby was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend the Outpost Inn to anyone looking for a great place in Highlands!"

"The suites were perfect. They make the check in so smooth and easy and its done before you arrive so you aren't wasting time in the lobby. However if you do need the staff, they were wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again."

"We loved our stay here. The area seems a little sketchy but it is a great property on the river with a great breakfast, indoor pool with a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor rocking chairs. Only thing I wish we did differently was get a room facing the water with a balcony. We would definitely stay again!"
