"Even though it’s right off a four lane highway, it’s quiet at night. It is currently only staffed remotely, but the lobby had plenty of coffee, snacks and water. Fredericksburg is roughly 20 minutes away, so lots of wineries nearby and places to eat. Cozy and just right for a weekend getaway. "

"The room was perfect and clean. And staff was great, very quick to respond to any questions and needs. The property was beautiful, very quiet. Very relaxing. Only thing I'd say that would be something to improve the bed mattress overly soft and like you would sink lower so maybe a newer better mattress or box spring, it's not that it was super uncomfortable because it wasn't slept good second night but maybe a better mattress but all over we loved it and hopefully we will be back. It was a getaway for our 34th anniversary."

"We had an amazing stay at The Martinsburg! We spent two days here and it was the perfect Hill Country getaway. The cabin is beautiful, modern, and extremely well kept. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and details to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is fantastic — peaceful and surrounded by the rolling hills, yet still very close to Fredericksburg and several great wineries. Being within walking distance to Pedernales Cellars was a huge plus for us. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the quiet atmosphere and the beautiful views of the Hill Country. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay near Fredericksburg, we highly recommend The Martinsburg. "Very unique stay in Fredericksburg. Wonderful location near almost every winery we wanted to see from the rhino, signor, and slate theory, all within 5min. Francisco was very knowledgeable and the Israeli wines and the great stories of the holy land vineyards. Would recommend this stay and enjoying the wine tastings at the cellar at least once."
