"The website and reviews are completely different then when I stayed there. The bedding, sheets, towels, robes, everything had stains on it. The building is really run down, structural damage, cracks in the walls. The bathroom shower is gross. It flooded water was running out the shower into where the toilet is. "The staff were very nice and charismatic. There were not a lot of people there which was nice in our opinion. Right in the beach. Beach chairs/beds and a pool right outside. We had our own little patio. There was a little thing of water next the stairs to the patio- I thought it was a bird bath- partner let me know it’s to wash the sand off your feet- simple but I really appreciated it. We always seen somebody cleaning in the distance. It’s walkable. It’s in a sort of gated part of Tulum....

"Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean. Staffs were helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the seaweed overran the entire beach, which wasn't anyone's fault. It's a shame we weren't able to use the free kayaking or swim at the ocean. The swimming pool was a good substitute though. The road is horrendous though, so make sure you drive safely."

"Betty was incredible, she was full of honest and helpful suggestions and super kind. All the staff were great. We have been to Tulum several times and the location of the hotel is pretty good, the walk to the better parts of the street side is not too long and the walk on the beach side is great."

"The place needs a lot of updates, when it rains the water goes inside the cabins, it is super hot and muggy and they do not offer a portable ac or any options for the room to cool down. There's an animal that goes in guest cabins. Thru the leaking roof and looks for food . The cabins are covered with tarps so water does not get inside, and all the Beach was full of sargassum. Also the government wants to charge you every day you enter the hotel property?"

"The location is amazing ! I had booked the oceanfront villa . Totally worth it ! Steps away from the beach ! Only thing is to look for is sargassum before booking ! Otherwise the place and vibe is 10/10"

"El hotel es bonito, las habitaciones espaciosas y el staff es amable. Sin embargo, la limpieza de la habitación podría mejorar. Nos tocó una habitación dónde todavia había ropa de los huéspedes anteriores y había polvo en varios lugares. Las ollas y sartenes no son los adecuados para el tipo de estufa y tuvimos que pedir un utensilio adicional para poder cocinar. Se escucha el ruido de las otras habitaciones y no pudimos descansar."

"We stayed in a Teepee on the beach- used the public bathrooms. The public bathrooms were gross but all public bathrooms are- bring disposable toilet covers/witch hazel/wipes/hand sanitizer/etc. There is an option to stay in a teepee by the bathrooms. I could not recommend against that enough/ it smells horrible down there :) The teepee on the beach was so nice. It seemed like we were the only ones staying in those ones. "I absolutely love this hotel. It was one of a kind the most unique experience. The hotel was stunning. We fell in love. I definitely can’t think Fidel, Ismael and the crew at The Beach club. They made our trip beyond memorable. I love them so much. I wish I could send them letters every so often to keep in touch! They were awesome ppl with outstanding customer service !!"
