"There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return."

"Our stay was great. The only disappointment was the shower. It wasn't very powerful and the temperature was unreliable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very good so it wasn't necessary to order additional cooked items. "

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"

"We found our stay to be faultless. 5 * would absolutely recommend. The proprietor met us on arrival was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, lovely homely feel. The whole property was spotless and everything had been well thought out for guests. Breakfast was included and cooked to order, again faultless in selection and availability, with extra special items available on request. Also the addition of secure and gated entrance to the property and parking, made for that extra peace...
