Nice stay. Very central, extremely friendly staff, clean room and peaceful nights sleep. Only reason I’ve knocked it to a 4 was because the car park for the hotel was not somewhere I would want to go in alone. When we went to get car there were people sleeping next to the car!
Great location for shops and theatre. Clean, quiet and safe, and good value, especially at the beginning of the week. Read the reviews about the adjacent underground car park and chose to park in St Cyriacs 3 minutes walk away which has won an award for safety. Have already booked again for this Travelodge.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The building itself is a bit tired and scruffy. But the linens, towels, bathroom etc were all spotlessly clean.
The hotel is extremely well located, being in a virtually car-free area opposite the cathedral, two minutes walk from the Novium Museum, one minute from the Market Cross and five minutes from the beautiful Bishops Palace Gardens. Buses to various nearby destinations stop in front of the cathedral, Wetherspoons is on the opposite corner and various other eating places are within a few minutes walk. Wetherspoons is particularly handy for breakfast. The bus station and train station are only about five minutes walk away. The reception is friendly and helpful, especially when noisy roadworks kept us awake. They moved us to a room across the corridor without hesitation and offered us a discount voucher on a future booking with Travelodge although the disruption was not their fault at all. Our bed was comfortable, the water always hot and there were plentiful packets of tea and coffee. However, we did have two small problems. Firstly, in the two days we were there we were completely unable to access the 30 minutes free wi-fi, despite several attempts on two different phones, and secondly our bed was not made up. Both of these were of little importance, but were not what we would have expected. We would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a quiet, no frills place to stay for a comfortable night's sleep.

Great price for the room, and the location is ideal (right in the centre of the city) Staff were lovely. Hotel seems to be getting a little old & clunky, still clean but "clunky"!
A bargain for Sunday night into Monday morning and right on the doorstep of who I was meeting. Lovely spot right by Chichester Cathedral with underground parking very near and easily accessible presuming you are OK on your legs and don't mind steps.

Stayed on the first floor and the smell was horrendous, absolutely terrible. The 30 minute free WiFi is also a joke, it should be included, I had no reception.
Recepionist very friendly room was well presented only thing wrong was tele could not have the sound turned up or down for a deaf person it could of been annoying but other then that it was a nice stay close to town center and bus and train stations
Stank of dog upon entry, there were sick stains outside of the bedroom door as well as at the side of the bed. I ended up finding somewhere else to stay due to the unpleasant smells and stains
Parking was terrible, underground & felt unsafe. No re-entry to the carpark via pedestrian route I had to walk down the ramp with no footpath.
Check in was the only good experience. Morning check out the team were horrendous & not friendly.
Rooms were dirty & plug sockets didn't work.

Bedding nice and clean and bathroom except for limescaled tap. Windowsill rotten. Carpet faded and stained in corridor. Seemed new on other floors. TV VERY small. Only 30 mins free WI-FI. Breakfast extra. Poor value for money.
