"From arrival we were really impressed with this place. The lady greeting us and showing us to our room, was lovely and made us feel welcome from the outset. "Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. "We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. "Stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room, lovely view of the river & very nice that we could sit outside. We had gone for my partners birthday & a lovely bottle of fizz was left for us to enjoy.
