"Although the design aesthetic was a bit too gaudy for me, this was just a one night stay and the room was as I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful….despite the shuttle bus officially only running between 6am and 9pm, the hotel picked us up at the airport and 9.30pm and returned us to the airport at 5.30am….we did not expect or insist on this, but they kindly offered, despite us saying we would get a taxi. Great service! "

"I have regularly stopped in the Carat hotel in Rüdesheim and had great service. That is now closed and I took a different route back from Italy to the UK and stopped at Weil. The hotel was a bit tired but friendly with a big room. There were no USB points but that’s not unusual.
