"We enjoyed our one night stay. We needed an escape from our city life and took advantage of the screened in porch and riverside setting. We had a take out dinner on the picnic table by the river and the kind owner helped us light the firepit. "This property was on my wish list as I have walked by it many times and imagined staying there with that view. The staff was very helpful and parking was easy. Our rooms were in the original building with the water view and outside deck. Although very clean, they definitely need updating- squeaky slider doors, noisy air conditioner, and the size of the bathroom was smaller than small. I guess I expected more for that price point."

"The woman that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. All the necessary soaps and linens were available. The bed was a little softer than we are used to, but still very comfortable. The A/C unit was easy to control. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh! A good assortment of cereals, bakery items, juice, hot items (make your own waffles, a pre-made omelet tea, sausage patties and home fries). Would definitely book this hotel again."

"The lobby smelled like weed and there was a guy dealing in the parking lot all afternoon and evening. Cigarette holes in the bed spread. Holes in the curtains. Door at the end of the hall to the outside was off its hinges. Wi-Fi didn't work. Do not go there. We left just after 7:00 am. Couldn't wait to leave."

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. We now know it is better to not get an ocean view because you still can’t see anything but parked vehicles right out front of your door. Towels were always out and we would have to wait till a new load was finished. The room location where we weee put was right next to the stairs, which are very loud and noisy. Probably a great place for families with children. If you want more of a relaxed atmosphere stay somewhere else!"

"Sheets, pillows and towels needs to be replaced. Sheets were grey. Pillows overwashed and lumpy. Brown throw blanket between sheet and cover needs to be removed completely..didn't seem to be clean. Paint on entrance door was chipping. Damp smell in room. Would not stay again. Staff were friendly."
