The location is great as a base to travel to Vik, the black sand beach, all the waterfalls in between, etc. Vestmannaeyjar (Westman) Islands is very close too (very close). Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely.
