"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours...

"This hotel in on a mountain 2 km uphill on a paved but old road, although I saw sedans I don’t know how they made it. We were glad we rented a 4x4 that’s what I recommend. Also try to get there before dark due to the steep uphill super curvy 2 km road. Although hotel is old (probably oldest in the area) it’s very clean , rooms are big and comfortable. It’s on a beautiful mountain with great views . The horse riding on site is a most! Decent breakfast, friendly staff. Definitely recommend if...

"Beautiful property, loved the hot springs and all the animals they had running around. We will definitely stay there again if we return to La Fortuna. "

"The location was great- in between the Fortuna waterfall and Mistico park, with the town with restaurants/shops close by as well. We had plenty on room for our family of 4. There was a nice outdoor patio from which we saw a toucan eating berries in the tree. Alvaro and Carlos were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend the villas las Palmas. "

"Highly recommend Villa Heliconia for location, amazing view of volcano, and access to nearby Los Lagos resort. The veranda and hot spring tub were amazing. Santiago was very responsive and arranged several tours for us (white water rafting; suspended bridges; zip lining). Tours picked up right at our villa but we still appreciated having a rental car. "The room was amazing! Beautifully arranged and all the amenities, the best was the porch overlooking the trees and the birds, breakfast was great. It’s pretty far from La Fortuna and most activities and wr didn’t rent a car. The host did drive us but we were limited in what we could do. "

"The hot springs were nice. However the room could be improved. The safe was not working. The backyard door could not be closed. It only locked if you walk out. Location and setting were amazing though. "

"Everything was great. The only thing was the hours for the hot springs, 11am to 9pm. Maybe 10am to 10pm, I believe would be more suitable. "
