"Such an excellent location, right under the medieval cité but away from the business. There are plenty of lovely places to have dinner a short walk away, and it is also a very short walk over the bridge and into La Bastide for cafes and shops around Place Carnot. The swimming pool is quiet and was very welcome in such hot weather! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful."

"Chateau Cavanac has the most beautiful pool i have ever experienced. The food was very good but you had to have 3 courses for dinner which you can do for a couple of days but after that we would have gone out to eat dinner. "This is a fantastic place to stay, accessible only with a car, about 20 minutes from Carcassonne. Beautiful setting, comfortable modern room with lots of space and amenities. Amazing breakfast (best croissant I had in france), very accomodating staff."
