"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San Francisco Proper Hotel. Our room was modern and spotless, we particularly loved the very comfortable bed and minimal street noise. The hotel is just two blocks from the Orpheum Theater and about 4 blocks from the Powell street cable car terminal. We will definitely stay at the SF Proper Hotel again. "Wonderful stay! The only downfall was not being clearly labeled and visible from the street. I would not have guessed that we would have to enter a door that was labeled as a restaurant. To have to take another “loop” around the block, takes so long because it can’t actually be around one block, to almost miss it again, but thank God I could just back up that time.
