"Room were clean, but the best times of this place already have passed. Service didn’t exist much. We arrived late and a document and keys were at the reception. We informed before that we arrive around 11 pm. Nobody was available at reception to welcome us and show our rooms. We spend about 1/2 hour to figure out were our rooms were, exploring the entire ground floor area and first floor. "Most powerful shower I've ever been blasted by, instant hot water too. Room ok, The hotels inability to provide a fridge even when it's for critical-for-life medicines is a bit troublesome and will probably force me to stay elsewhere when I'm back in Ayr later this year. Breakfast is menu-ordered. Very tasty but far too small given the continental buffet options were extraordinarily limited."

"Good value hotel in the centre of Cumnock. Room 5 was large with a sofa. Bed comfortable and fan in room which was needed whilst the UK was in the midst of a heatwave. Staff were very friendly especially in the restaurant. Small hotel parking area but on road and free parking nearby if full."
