Gardaland Hotel

8/10 Good

"We stayed here for 14 nights as a base to explore Lake Garda, not just Gardaland, and had a great stay overall. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. The outdoor pool and bar area were excellent, and the arcade was a big hit with the kids. We also appreciated the hotel's taxi company, which offers fixed-price fares and can be contacted directly via WhatsApp to arrange return journeys. The free shuttle service to Gardaland and Peschiera del Garda was reliable and very convenient. Our only disappointment was the food. Breakfast and dinner were expensive for the quality offered. We found it much better value to have breakfast inside Gardaland before starting the day, and for evening meals we'd recommend heading into Peschiera del Garda, where there are plenty of excellent restaurants. We were also surprised that, despite staying for 14 nights, there was no discounted breakfast package available. If you're staying for more than a few days, we'd also recommend buying a Gardaland season pass. It makes it easy to pop into the park for a few hours whenever you like, while still leaving plenty of time to explore everything else Lake Garda has to offer. Overall, we'd happily return and would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, excellent staff, facilities and convenient location."

"I stayed in the attic room. The ceiling is very steep, have to be careful. Lucky im short! The skylight is a great addition for natural light. Room air con worked well and room was lovely and cold (keep blind on skylight mainly closed during day when out). Bed was comfy and pillows soft. Pool was a lovely facility to relax next to with heaps of loungers. Short walk to the lakeside swimming spots and supermarket. Only downside was noise from neighbouring room or lift. But i did sleep through it once asleep. Would visit again. Staff were welcoming and breakfast outside next to pool was relaxing. Busy tourist season at the lake."

"A great property when you’ve got kids. Loads to do and you can eat and drink there if you don’t want to go into town. There is a great shuttle to Gardaland and you can get to town from there but it would be helpful if there was a clearer timetable as you could end up loosing 30 mins if you just miss a bus but you’re never sure if it’s timings. The only real negative is taxi prices, if you do miss the bus an uber is about €40 for a 3 mile trip. Gardaland theme park is amazing I don’t know why I hadn’t heard of it before, loads and loads to do for kids of all ages as well as the adults and the local town of Peschiera del Garda is absolutely stunning. We’ll defo be back"

"This was a lovely hotel. It is right at the train station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had black out curtains which was great. It is close to town and easily walkable. There’s a free bus to Gardaland which leaves right outside the hotel at the station. A lovely place to base ourselves and I would recommend this."

"The view from the balcony was amazing, directly looking at the lake, room was plenty spacious and the balcony had plenty of room as well. There is a tunnel from the spa area that goes under the road and brings you out by the sun beds that are as close to the lake as you could get. The pool at the back was perfect (be prepared to wear a little blue swimming cap) and was never too busy when we stayed (late June)"
