"We loved our stay at this untouristic but friendly town home to Gavi wine, which we love. The hotel is very centrally located in the main parking square with free parking right in front. Our room was large and splotlessly clean with great aircon. Breakfast was reasonably priced with lots of home made things and excellent cappuccinos. "We used this hotel to break a long journey. City seemed run down but hotel was nice. Plenty of car parking. The breakfast was good. Room was big, clean and bed comfy. Staff was very good. I can stay here again if i was visiting this town again. "

"This was a proper ‘old school’ posh hotel where what you’d expect to get, you got! Right from walking through the wrong door the reception saw that our bags were taken to our room no problem and then the restaurant manager bent over backwards as we were only arriving as the restaurant was meant to close. "I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. "Great location and large room. Check in was good and receptionists was gave plenty of infabout the city. Breakfast was partial buffet and partial order service. The logic of having to order fruit salad and cheese + ham was lost on me. Waited 15 minutes to learn that the order had been lost and than another 10 minutes to receive a coffee and small plate of ham. However, no bread or croissant available on buffet when this was served! Suggest that changes need to be made"
