"If you’re looking for the cave experience this place is great, the room was very nice all renovated and very comfortable. A lot of steps but that’s Matera and close to dinning and shopping. The staff is great very accommodating and helpful with helping us navigate the area. Morning Breakfast was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if we come back."

"This is one of the best if not the best places I’ve stayed at. So much history in this hotel plus such a great experience to stay in a room made of stone. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful all the time. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and provided so many great tips of what we could do. Even provided us a map of the area. Wir hatten ein Problem mit unserem Zimmer und haben problemlos ein Upgrade bekommen und uns wurden mehrere Zimmer gezeigt und angeboten, das alles um 22:30 Uhr.
