From the moment we walked into the, it was uncomfortably hot. There is no AC in the lobby or hallways, and when we got to our room it was just as hot. The room never properly cooled down throughout the entire weekend. We even had to call maintenance to check the AC because it felt like it was not working. Although they came to look at it, the room remained very warm the entire stay.
Cleanliness was a major issue. The hotel felt extremely dirty. There were cockroaches, the shower curtain was visibly filthy, the floors were dirty, and the blankets looked unwashed and smelled unpleasant, almost like mildew. It did not feel sanitary at all.
Customer service was also disappointing. One older gentleman near front desk was helpful and he was kind but aside from him, the experience was not great. I had one friend stay with me for one night, and the hotel attempted to charge me extra. I had already paid for the full weekend, and the rate is based on double occupancy. When I contacted Expedia, they confirmed I should not have been charged anything additional. It felt very unprofessional and unnecessary.
Overall, I had a very bad experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet even basic expectations.
