"Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!"

We had dinner or dessert every night in the restaurant because it was so good. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. "We were “welcome Home’d” every time we came back in the front door. The entire staff treated us as if it was our home. The facilities were immaculate. The view from the restaurant windows and balconies overlooking the the east and south side of the city. Castle St George fills your view. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the restaurant has a very wide and delicious menu. This is our second visit and we will return."

"After a very lengthy research on hotels, we decided to book this hotel and we were not disappointed. This is a very beautiful hotel in a very central convenient location. Hotel itself is beautiful but it is the staff that made our stay exceptional. Front desk staff are amazing , from the time we checked in and checked out, they took very good care of us. They helped us with all our questions and provided multiple recommendations. Definitely recommend this place when you are in Lisbon 10/10. "

"Overall, this hotel is in a great location, and the front desk staff were extremely kind. Breakfast each morning was also very enjoyable. My disappointment began when I entered my room and found a dirty, brown, wet towel hanging in the bathroom. It was on the same hook as the robes, which appeared unused. Because the robes were still tied, it seems likely that housekeeping didn’t take a closer look and therefore missed the towel hanging over one of them. This raised a larger concern for me: if...

"Awful check in experience, we couldn’t even gain access to the apartment as we arrived late in the evening. The staff manning the helpline number was picking up the phone and immediately hanging up. Frustrating to say the least!"
