"I was told there was no hotel parking, only street spaces or in Port Isaac—a ten-minute walk away. Luckily, we parked nearby, but later found there was poorly signposted hotel parking with just eight spaces. Better communication would have helped. Parking in Port Isaac is pay and display, up a steep hill, so dropping off luggage first is wise. "Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon. The food was cooked to perfection and was thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the Victoria In. Location...

"From start to finish we had a great stay at the Slipway. Room 11 is wonderfully quirky with a lovely outlook over the port. Spotlessly clean and tidy, we couldn’t fault anything and all the staff were brilliant so well done to all! We intend staying again soon. Parking is a 10 minute walk but not a long way to go and £11 a day or £29 a week"

"A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away. "

"Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. "
