"Absolutely making this our regular spot when we stay in Carlsbad! Staff were incredibly friendly and had a service attitude. If it wasn’t raining I’m sure you would have caught us at the fire pit or in the hot tub (all the more reason for us to return). The room was aesthetic and SMELLED AND FELT clean! Might have to pester them for what sheets and pillows they use because I’ve never slept better. Such a shame we only stayed one night, I could’ve hung out there all week! Less than a 5 minute...

"It’s a nice hotel in an ideal location. The amenities are great with a large grass area with tables and overlooking the ocean. An adult only hot tub and a family pool and jacuzzi too. On site activities, steps from the beach and downtown and an activity center that gives out beach chairs boogie boards towels etc. "

Wildly bad night, loud, kids running in halls, laundry going all night, extremely loud traffic, terrible beds and pillows! "We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor.
