Top Cappella Palatina Hotel Reviews
Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in a perfect location to be visiting the city. It is a beautiful building. Serena one of the wait staff was very helpful and everybody in the restaurant was extremely friendly and professional. The only thing that may detract was they allow smoking in the lobby area. This is our second time staying there and loved it. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff speaks English which is helpful."
Hotel Columbia
10/10 Excellent
"Well situated very close to the main street. 1.4 km from the train station, 20€ in taxi, 65€ from the airport. No elevator, so if you have many suitcases ask for a room on the first floor. Breakfast included but basic. Very quiet at night."
Palazzo Natoli Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing location and beautifully curated rooms. We felt like locals! The breakfasts were very good with yummy desert options. Unfortunately, due to no fault of the hotel, there was construction in between our rooms and the lobby which made it a little bit of a nuisance with bags to get in and out. Otherwise 5 stars all around. This construction is temporary, and I would highly recommend this hotel."
Alma Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderfully helpful staff. For Europe, very spacious room. Well furnished. Be aware that this property is like other Italian hotels with lobby on 2nd floor, not a large main lobby that Americans might be used to. There is an elevator, so bags don’t have to be lugged up multiple flights of stairs. Would certainly recommend Alma."
Grand Hotel Wagner
10/10 Excellent
"Room was great. The staff was most helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Eventhough there was a blackout the rooms were air conditioned. Would have like a more extensive gym. Would reccomend it highly."
Hotel Politeama
10/10 Excellent
"We booked a suite with wraparound balcony. Suite was lovely, cannot fault it at all. Views over Palermo were amazing and when sleeping the windows blocked out the noise of the bustling city. Maids came when needed and did a fantastic job. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast selection. Location was perfect, not far from the historical centre and massimo teatro but far enough away for anyone wanting a slightly quieter base to explore. Palermo is a great city. It’s gritty in places, but the architecture, streets and piazza’s are also very beautiful. Restaurants and bars we went to were excellent. The people couldn’t be more friendlier, especially when they saw we were making a little effort to speak basic Italian (albeit poorly!). Although most spoke excellent English. One point I would make, it was extremely hot (early Sept) and when going back we would visit later in year (October). The hotel does have (much-needed) aircon which meant heat was only an issue when outside. Overall, brilliant city break and the hotel helped make it an unforgettable trip. Grazie mille!!"
