All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. "The property seems quite old and could benefit from some updates. The bed sheets did not feel very clean, and the blanket was shedding material, which made it uncomfortable to use. There was also no bedside table in the room, which would have been helpful. With better maintenance and attention to these details, the stay could be improved."

"This stay was perfect for us, the A/C works perfectly, the shower water was spectacular. We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. "If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. When I realize that I was not very happy staying there, I was unable to cancel or get refunded for my unused nights."
