The rooms were nice and very clean. Check in was OK once we received the email with our door code. The walls were definitely not soundproof. Woke up to the alarm next door. Heard every conversation and song that the guest sang.

Canmore is the perfect place to stay with its shops, restaurants, stores, breweries and the great 360 mountains views from every road in the town. Really friendly and helpful locals who find it no trouble to advise you on things to do and see.

We did the Bow valley trail to I40 which we had done before a few years ago. This time the road(gravel track) was in a very poor condition (although now being repaired) which made the drive very hard. Had to concentrate on pot holes not scenery.

Lake Louise and Moraine lake very busy - an hour's wait for the shuttle bus so we didn't bother and went to emerald lake instead
