Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

"Would highly recommend!! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and there were always cleaning staff in main areas. Food was exceptional. This is a more laid back resort which was fine by us however there is access to the other Riu properties for those who want more of a night life. We did take the provided transportation to Riu caribe to take in the white party which always a great time."

"The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went during spring break so it was quite busy and hard to find a pool chair. Resos need to be booked before your stay and the app is not the greatest.
The pools were really nice and the kiddie pool has a lot of slides.
Lots of entertainment within the resort as well - shows, games, arcade, and bowling. "

"Dear Team,
I am writing to escalate concerns from my recent stay at GR Solaris Cancun Resort, which fell significantly below expectations.
1. Room Allocation & Handling (Primary Concern)
Despite booking a king bed, we were given two small double beds. No resolution was provided. We were asked to check out at 11 AM and wait until 3 PM for a new room—forcing us to wait 4 hours with valuables, which is unacceptable.
2. Misleading Lagoon View
The lagoon view room had a completely blocked view. Expedia images appear misleading.
3. Food Issues
Very limited vegetarian options; customization took excessively long.
4. Slow Service
Service across the resort was consistently slow.
5. No Drinks at Closing
No beverages were served near closing time.
6. Missing Basic Amenities
No dental kit available; we were asked to purchase one.
7. Room Key Issues
Key malfunctioned repeatedly despite multiple fixes.
8. Shuttle Mismanagement
Asked to be ready at 2 PM; shuttle arrived at 2:20 PM. The travel agent was unhelpful and rude. This delay risked missing our flight.
Overall, this experience was frustrating and not aligned with expected standards. I request a prompt response with corrective actions and appropriate compensation."

Seadust Cancún All Inclusive Family Resort

"The staff was super kind and helpful. We thought the food was good, not sure what other reviewers complained about. The property is 20 years old so you notice a little wear and tear but most of all it was great. Rooms were spacious for family of 4. Our only complaint was they do try to upsell a lot and join infinity group or buy spa services. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend for families."

Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt

"Perfect for a family with children. The hotel’s public spaces were beautiful and everywhere I went I saw staff cleaning. Our room was simple but spacious and absolutely spotless. We mostly ate at the buffet because there were lots of options to meet everybody’s taste and they had different themes each night. The food was fresh and they had things like pasta stations, omelette stations, a carving station at night, and a fajita station at lunch. We ate at the Mexican restaurant too, it was a little hit and miss. I wish the food there wasn’t so toned down for tourists. The main pool is a good size, they serve tacos by the pool at lunch and they are delicious. The beach is gorgeous. FYI the water tends to have strong currents so you can’t go very far into the water, but we had fun splashing around in the waves. The kids pool area with slides was partially closed during our visit, but it wasn’t an issue. There are exercise classes, sports and entertainment like dance classes by day. At night there’s things like live music, one night there was a fire dance show on the beach. "

"Very bad experience at this hotel. I was honestly ready to leave after the first night.
The front desk was not helpful at all and didn’t try to solve anything. Worst customer service I’ve experienced ! it didn’t feel like a Hilton-level hotel at all.
The pool area was also disappointing. Umbrellas couldn’t be opened, so there was no shade, and the water was very cold.
Overall, a really poor stay. I would not recommend this place. Never."
