"Hotel near the River Clyde about 200 yards from Glasgow Central station. Our room looked on to the river and the busy railway line from the station. Good sized room and bathroom was very comfortable. Staff at check-in and at other times during our stay were most helpful.Would recommend."

"Point A is a nice boutique hotel that is convenient to the bus and train stations, Buchanan Street and some great restaurants. Point A does have a continental breakfast at an extra fee. If you like coffee first thing in the morning, it may be purchased at the front desk. The unit had USB chargers so we did not have to use our volrage converter for our cell phones and tablets. "Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"The hotel is very clean & well presented and well situated for Glasgow city centre. However, we stayed for 3 nights and found the so called wardrobe space very poor and full of spare pillows, iron, ironing board and towels. The one draw in the room was too narrow to put anything in apart from underwear and also contained the hairdryer."

"The staff were very welcoming from the start, very friendly always had a smile, staff were very informative on any questions we had, the hotel room was a great size and very clean, was very comfortable the view was amazing we had a view of the Clyde and the hydro, room service was excellent food was amazing. The pool and Spa was great very clean, Only 5 minutes away from the train station. Would definitely stay and use this hotel again 100%."

"Great hotel that we have used for multiple trips to Glasgow, great to have lots of options on site: food, drink, pool and gym (all are great). Great location if staying for concerts held across the river and only a short walk to the pedestrian bridge to get there. Have always felt safe staying in the area and very walkable to the multiple shopping areas though it is a good 20 minute walk into the main centre (though plenty of transport options also). Will definitely use again when visiting...

"Great location for exploring the city and to train station, comfy bed, we opted for the premium plus room as we had stayed in a few Yotels before and wanted slightly more space as it was for 5 night, although the smaller rooms are also great too, staff friendly and helpful and place spotless. We didn’t bowling in the Vega rooftop bar, it was ridiculously expensive but good fun all the same, would stay again"
