The building and surroundings are very run down, I wasn't even sure the pub was open to go in and collect the key as the windows had bars on them and the hanging sign was empty. Needs a bit of a paint job. Parking was dodgy, surrounded by bins, rubbish and just not very clear where to park."

"The room was very dark with only 2 bedside lights and a lamp on the dressing table. There was no central light which meant that we had to rely on daylight if we wanted to read or do anything like that. This was during the late spring so it must be really dark in the autumn/winter.
