"I wish I had known more about this hotel before booking. Upon checking in, the room had someone else in it when we tried to open the door and the desk staff really did not care when told about this key detail!!! That alone was a terrrible start to the stay and could have turned so ugly - it barely got a shrug at the front desk. There were a lot of problems with the room from a broken toilet seat to a broken coffee machine, there was no service to the room over three days, a completely outdated, and unmaintained gym, old elevators, a dog walking the hallway with no leash on it and a vibe that there is something illegal taking place in some of the rooms. The evening staff is often missing, and no one answers the phone! We would never stay there again. However I would like to acknowledge Lloyd who is a wonderful person, and should be given a raise! "

"I was told when I called the hotel that the airport shuttle was always available. When I arrived at the airport I was told that there was no shuttle. This was NOT a good surprise."

"The room was clean. It was very comfortable. The location was great. The downtown surrounding area was incredible. The airport shuttle got us to the airport on time. I would recommend this hotel if anybody asked for recommendations in the Fort Lauderdale area. I was very happy with my stay. The pool was also great. This was one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at."
