"Breakfast staff absolutely spot on service very courteous and efficient"

"Convenient location on the main street in Burntisland. Around 5-6 minute walk from the train station. The train into the Edinburgh Waverly Station, center Edinburgh, departs every 20-25, minutes and takes around 30 minutes into Edinburgh. My room was large, with a large screen TV, Hot water kettle. No mini fridge. No elevator. My room faced the backyard so it was quiet. The window opened a little to let in fresh air."

"What a really unusual place to stay. We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and really helpful, esp as the trams were not working so we got a great explanation of which buses would take us to various locations. I love the art deco period and this boat certainly did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! Its s hidden gem in Leith."

"This is a treat for our anniversary and this place is unique in its own way. We arrived prior to check in time and left our luggage at the reception and enjoyed our glass of champagne. We were given tickets to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia which we enjoyed very much. As the Fingal is part of the business of the Britannia, Fingal gives a feeling of Royalty in an modernised Britannia. "Hotel is lovely and clean the beds are so comfy and cosy had best nights sleeps Having the a/c was great. Staff were very friendly. The only downside I felt was the having to order at the table for food and drink for evening meal . It’s a faff much prefer service at the table . Will eat out next time . Breakfast was lovely buffet style but only scrambled eggs on offer which was downside for us . Will definitely stay again . Ideal location too"

"Stayed for our silver wedding anniversary and glad we chose the Apex Waterloo. Check in was easy and friendly, Room was very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped. Wonderful reception lady came and brought us a bottle of Prosecco on ice with 2 glasses on the house which was a lovely gesture Pool and Spa was lovely and relaxing and for an early Sat evening we had it to ourselves. The lady managing the Spa was wonderfully polite and kind. The bar staff were friendly. Overall a great hotel,...

"The Balmoral is a beautiful hotel! Its location is perfect since it’s close to all major attractions. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I’ve stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely and had great views. The restaurant is very good and the high tea in the Palm Court is superb!"
