"The property was beautiful inside and out. It was modern and clean, with lovely fixtures and fittings. The location is fine with easy transport links into the city centre and there are some nice artisan bakeries and coffee shops within walking distance to go and have breakfast. It was a tiny bit disappointing that there is no breakfast available. There is also no reception or staff available on site so check in has to be done remotely on your mobile prior to arrival and you will then recieve a code to enter both the building and your room. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We'd definately stay again."

"Great location for Waverley access on foot. Despite the busy streets outside, it was quiet and comfortable inside my room. Check in was quick and trouble free, with a friendly reception. I didn’t dine at all as this a brief layover (21:00 arrival and 08:30 check out) but I’d definitely recommend the hotel."

"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time and I would seriously consider renting the property again the next time I visit the UK. "

"Had 4 nights in this hotel. Room is a little outdated and showing significantly. Wednesday evening we ate in the restaurant which was ok. They do add 10% service charge onto the bill and tell you they can remove it if you wish!!!! Breakfast was lovely Thursday and friday mornings, however Saturday and Sunday was a little disappointing 😞. No housekeeping during stay they ask if you require anything at breakfast, which is something we have never experienced. No car park, train station which is a short walk away from the hotel. Would give this stay 7 out of 10"
