"Beautiful location, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was one of our top meals in Iceland. We also ordered a lunch box for the following day and it was amazing, saved us time and could go straight to our hikes. Highly recommended!"

"Stayed in room 102. The hotel is a beautiful log cabin design with a lot of neat touches such as the carved bears in the staircases. The room is a nice size with a mini fridge that is only big enough for a couple drinks. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. A large variety of sweets, cereal, fresh bread and even eggs and bacon. Had no issues getting the code or opening the lockbox that held the key. Recommended. Close to Skogafoss and the amazing hike to Kvernufoss."

"Parking was available at the hostel. I would definitely stay here again as it was very clean, quiet and adequate accommodations of showers and common space to easily move around. "Anna and Siggi’s place was absolutely lovely! Anna was very helpful and had fresh bread in the check in area when we arrived. Our little suite was perfect for my husband, daughter and I. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. My daughter loved the dogs and being so close to the ponies. We definitely recommend the Garage if you’re traveling to southern Iceland and want a cozy place to stay with an beautiful view of the water and mountains!"
