"Apartment Deluxe is the largest unit with one bath room that can room 6 people. Bathroom is somewhat updated bath not the shower head. Entry door outdated."

Our room, on the third floor of the “East building,” felt like a beach cottage, with a simple but lovely layout including a deep tub, small kitchenette, fireplace and view of the beach from the sitting room and the balcony. "My stay was ok. When I got to my room my TV didn't work but the front desk attendant was able to fix it. The mini bar lights up which is annoying when trying to sleep. I couldn't figure how to turn it off and ended up putting a blanket over it. It also made a noise that was distruptive to my sleep. It was a fine hotel but there are better in the area."

"Great hotel. We wanted something near LAX as we were dropping our dog off for pet transport. Great hotel for the dog. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and sitting outside in the bar area with heaters going was very nice. Very quiet considering how close we were to the airport. Would definitely stay here again. "Fantastic location - right on the beach and that cannot be beaten. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. We received a room upgrade which was great. The only negative I can say is that the property needs some $ spent on maintenance - a few things are broken and need repair - it didn’t affect our stay but if fixed would bring this unique vintage property to a 5 star all around.
