"The staff was not helpful when asked for any towels or keys not working. The carpets were extremely dirty. We were told the rooms were pet free and told only a certain floor was pet friendly. I have kids that are allergic to pet dander so this was important. Our floor also had dogs in rooms next door so that was false information. The pets had pooped and peed all over the carpets on the hallway. Breakfast items were limited- when asking staff for even coffee they were out of items within 30...

"This location is for passing through only, the rooms are horrible. The beds are just springs, the ceiling has dark spots, the carpet is dirty. One elevator was working while there."

"This was the grossest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The floor was covered in random little puddles of some kind of weird wet goo. The bed smelled like throw up. We checked in just before midnight and were too tired to find another hotel or we wouldn’t have stayed. We checked out early and won’t be back."

"I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. I sometimes wonder if booking through Expedia results in being...

"We arrived in the morning via the train. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until our rooms were ready. We went adventuring in the city. Within an hour, the hotel called to say our room was ready. Well before check in. The room was spacious, clean and cool. Highly recommend."

"Two beds and a sleeper sofa accommodated our family of six nicely. We used this room as a break in our family road trip, and it served its purpose well. There were a few signs of aging within the room (decor, window A/C unit was a bit beat up, etc), but overall it was a satisfactory stay. The breakfast gave good options also!"
