"We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit. "

"Everything about our stay at the Boat House Hotel in Seaview was perfect. The room was lovely — spotless, comfortable, and full of character. "The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter."

"Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!"
