"I had an amazing stay here. Located in a nice quiet but scenic location. My room was great I had my own separate spacious bathroom and a double bed room next door to it. The grounds of the hotel are green and you can see woodpeckers from the window. The breakfast options were great from a cooked breakfast to fresh fruit yoghurts and cereals. I also unexpectedly received daily housekeeping. The hotel is located within reasonable driving distance to nice beaches and attractions."

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"The room was nice. Due to Covid restrictions, we didn’t see a single member of staff apart from the man in the bar, which wasn’t the kind of hotel bar I expected. No real ale (“because it wasn’t worth doing” according to the barman). No coffee either. We went to our room via a side door, so we didn’t even see the hotel facilities. "Lovely house with everything we needed and plenty of space for our group of 7. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the coastal path for beautiful walks. The host was very accommodation and provided any information we needed, and the chocolate buns were very tasty!! There is a nice pub and a small shop within steps of the property and the fish and chip shop is just a short drive away. Thanks for an amazing stay, we had a great weekend! "
