"OK. So I had no idea that this hotel was a winner of Channel 4’s “Four in a Bed”. Until I got there but I can understand why it did. The decor is quirky without being irritating and the room was really comfortable. I should probably say that I was travelling for business and this hotel wasn’t ideal for that (there was no desk) but I would definitely return with my wife. I would have liked a head’s up that the restaurant wasn’t going to be open the evening that I stayed and sadly I had to leave...

"Ideal location to host a bukkake party with six friends as the floors were easy to clean. Parking was easy and its location is ideal in the centre of the town. Rooms are very basic but the kitchen is nice and looks good. Rooms are cold in winter due to poor windows and doors and the house is really made of lego I think but the boys were able to maintain the stiffness all night. "

"We only had the pleasure of staying at the Vine for one night but would have gladly stayed for ever what a amazing hotel the host Joe was outstanding from the moment we arrived at this most beautiful hotel you are greeted by the lovely Joe she showed us to our room which was like a five star hotel room sockets galore wardrobe dressing table cabinets tea and coffee facilities including herbal teas biscuits homemade cakes the list goes on oh yes sorry hairdryer dressing gowns slippers ok I’ll stop...

"Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. "The property is very clean and well kept. You are given towels and you have full use of the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I'd like to recommend this to the owners of the property: Put a towel in the kitchen. You have to call them so they can give you a code to the key, it'd be so much convenient to maybe add a whatsapp option or even email as not everybody has a UK phone number and not everybody can communicate in English. "

"Great stay and host was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good my only recommendation would be having a fan in the rooms as the room was incredibly hot and the building being grade 2 had original looking sash windows and were delicate so we didn’t dare open them. Overall a great stay and highly recommended "
