"Reception was OK. Most of the staff were cordial, notably the young men serving in the restaurant and those working in the baggage area in the lobby, and the pool attendants. The room had a tiny dribble of cold water in the shower, no water at all (literally) in the taps of the bath tub, and a usable but small amount of cold water in the sink. We ended up taking our showers in the jacuzzi area several floors below our room, which was challenging because there are no bathrobes provided,
On arrival the kettle in the room worked, which we needed because no drinkable water was available in the room or in the public spaces, (apart from one container of juice 11 floors below in the lobby), After boiling one kettlefull of water it ceased to work. It was not difficult to get it replaced, however. At checkout we were charged for minibar items that we did not even know were in the minibar and certainly had not consumed. The taxi drivers were very pleasant but I would prefer not to have been reminded to tip them. I always tip generously, there is no need to ask me for a tip."
