The hotel is mostly made of two storey villas and there's also a main building with seaview. If you don't want to hire a car, there's a bus stop 300 meters up on the road to go to Chania. "Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains. The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally. "

"Excellent for a one night stop before flight. Beautiful apartments set into the hillside overlooking Souda Bay. Incredibly modern, new and super clean. Very spacious rooms, equipped with all the essentials and also outstanding views. Staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for them. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating with my requests and really lovely to deal with. Wonderful small pool area which again, has an incredible view of Souda bay and the mountains. Well...

"I had a sea view suite on the harbor which is beautiful! The staff are 100% accommodating and lovely. No elevator at this hotel so must be able bodied. That’s true of much of Greece. "

"What an amazing find. Due to my disability, we needed somewhere to stay, that would suit my mobility issues. This place was perfect. We had the ground floor room and it was beautiful, so no stairs to climb and it did not look like an accessible room. We were greeted by a beautiful young lady by the name of Anna. "Situated in a quiet corner of Chania but close to everything the old town and harbour have to offer, La Maison Ottomane is an old renovated building with three unique rooms. "We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....
