"This condo exceeded our expectations! It was amazing!! So comfortable, the views were spectacular. & the amenities were outstanding. Can’t say enough great things about our stay. Saw whales breaching from the patio table. Had all the extras we needed. The staff at the resort was super helpful, beach was right there and pickleball courts were so fun to use. Our kids didn’t want to leave and have requested we stay there again. "

"We loved our stay at Kanapali Shores. It felt like old Hawaii, just as we like it! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and great beach. Sea turtles and Monk seal paid us a visit while there. True, the hotel rooms are dated, but it honestly made it feel like classic Hawaii vs a square white box. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great stay with two other couples. The unit is well kept as are the grounds. Some good places to eat without having to drive. My only criticism is that none of the lights are very bright except those in the kitchen. We could not play cards at the dinning table because of this. We had to arrange chairs around the kitchen counter."

"Cockroaches in the apartment and the patio. They offered to bomb the unit but we had to be out for an hour and then go back to air it out. I didn’t want to deal with the chemicals or the dead roaches. They should have bombed before our stay. The stove needs repairs. Only one burner worked. The pool is nice as well as location. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Honua Kai. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, including a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, just bring your own food. The location is fantastic, the pools were great, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff reached out before our arrival and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience feel extra welcoming. We would definitely love to come back."
