"Wir waren leider nur auf der Durchreise und sind dadurch ausschliesslich eine Nacht geblieben. Wir wären wahnsinnig gerne noch länger zu Gast gewesen! Wunderschöne Anlage mitten im Grünen! Deliziöses Frühstück und tolle, geräumige Zimmer! Unser Highligh: Das Spa mit Blick in den Wald! Entspannung Pur! Der Service war ebenfalls 1A! :) Un grand merci à toute l’équipe! "La Frégate feels like a weathered beach lodge. It is clean and comfortable and the ocean view (and constant sound of the waves) is everything! The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice (for an additional €13) and the reception area features a full bar, where you can conveniently order a café or cocktail. "Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

"The room was basic and in fair condition but what made this a very nice stay was the friendliness and welcome I received when arriving. They even kept the kitchen open a few more minutes for me as I arrived just the dining was finishing. The meal was superb and they have a good selection of wines. The hotel site was conveniently located and reasonably well maintained. This is a recommended stay. "
