"Good hotel for the money a bit tired but keep very clean good staff "

"The rooms overall were very clean except for the carpet which was nasty looking. The hallways outside of the room were not very appealing nor was the building itself. Mostly the staff made up for this."

"The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return. The only thing that wasn't 5 stars is the food. It was still good, but it didn’t quite match the...

"Beautiful surrounding. Hotel property is ok. On the first day at the reception I was given a room that takes about 6 minutes to walk,I went with 2 suitcases up a steep hill till the hotel area.the weather was really really hot.was not offered for someone to give me a hand! Then 1 flight up no lift.came there was exhausted as hell.no a/c in the rooms only small fan.did not sleep well 3 nights.in the morning 7.50 a.m working was going on on the roof really loud noise..so could not enjoy some...

"We stayed for a night at the Bel & Dragon in Wendover after a Chilterns walk along the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough. The pub was a lovely way to end the day - the room was very nice and we had a few drinks and great meal. It was the hottest day of the year, so understandably warm in the rooms, but there was a fan provided, which helped with the heat."

"Beautiful location and a really quaint and quirky hotel built in the 16th century. A number of boutique shops locally and plenty options for eating and drinking. Really friendly staff happy to help. Private car park with plenty of spaces."
