"My nephew and I had to relocate our hotel from the Premier at the last minute due to a change in the date of the Leicester City game, so we booked into the Bell Gate House. Having seen some reviews, we weren't expecting a great deal, just somewhere to sleep. However, despite the unassuming entrance in a perhaps slightly rundown area of town, we were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel.
The room was very clean and smart, even included (a very slightly bashed) fridge, which we didn't use....

"Room and bathroom was clean, a bit small for a family room. once the sofa bed was made up we couldn’t use the chairs with coffee table. The linen and towels weren’t refreshed and just folded and put back for re-use which we didn’t like at all.
The bed was “made” but not cleaned before tidying it. Please keep an eye on both of these if you are fussed about the “hotel” experience.
Our room was not hoovered during our stay.
Paid a premium price for a 4 star local hotel, then we paid extra...
